| When I was about 13-14 years old, my neighbor Missy and I were bored so we decided to play with the Ouija Board while my Mom cooked dinner. We were sitting at the kitchen table asking the Ouija very "typical" questions. We asked the board if there was a "spirit" in the house.. and we received a reply. The answer was "DOG". Thinking it was funny, we continued to ask questions about this spirit that supposedly was encompassing our dog. The Ouija seemed to be getting "aggravated", as the piece you hold on to started moving around the board erraticly. My Mom felt uneasy about what we were doing so she told us to put it up. Of course at our age, we didn't listen. Finally after asking numerous questions that related to the "dog", the "angry" Ouija literally lifted about a half inch off the kitchen table and flew across the room and landed in the dogs water dish. Neith Missy or myself pushed the board and even if we had it would have never made it as far as is did across the room. My mother started yelling at us because she had seen the whole thing and she wanted to immediately dispose of the board. Then I asked... where's the dog? It spooked everyone because the dog we had at the time ALWAYS was wherever my mother was. We searched the house and couldn't find her and finally I decided to open the basement door (a place that the dog would have had NO WAY of getting down into) and there she sat... shaking like a leaf, scared to death, on the top stair. She bolted from the basement and hid under the bed for the rest of the evening. Needless to say, my Mother confiscated that Ouija Board, never to be seen again. |

| I love a good Quija Board story. That board seems to be the kind of lightning rod that gets to just about everyone and always seems to leave multiple witness. Poor puppy. |
